Weekend of busy-ness

Olive and Zoey....so cute

We had Ilin's Bday party this weekend. At first I was worried no one was showing up, then, a little late, 8 out of the 10 showed up. They did the climbing wall, ate pizza, then swam...it was all done by 530. Ilin's dad decided to show up and gave me half the cost, so that was a plus. He also brought Robin and Zoey...which Olive was so excited about. Zoey has lost all of her hair and is on steroids so she looks like a little round cupcake, absolutely adorable.

So, my dear friend Jenny has been contemplating a career change. I am all for change, as stressful as it is, especially to ensure a future with some $$ stability. Money does not buy happiness but it surely makes life a bit easier. She is thinking about an RN program. I think it's a good idea, even though the wait-list is a bit long (maybe she can avoid that) at least with a RN degree you have options and guarantee of work, unless you choose not to work. Jenny, Spring is the time for change.

This morning I kept waking up every 10 minutes...drove me nuts, finally I just got up and came to work. Clocked in at 345 am, did some work then went down to the Gym to run for 3.2miles. That's the one good thing about coming in so early. I feel justified in running in the morning. I ate my bowl of oatmeal choked down my 2nd huge glass of coffee and am now going to finish my work. I have my first class at 830 am then I'm done at 415. One big test today. cross your fingers for me.
