off to try to gather from holiday spirit and thought decorating my mug would help.
It did, for a minute of two.
Whats on the agenda today?
gonna get outta this house and bust a move.
finish my holiday wrapping....
Boycott any more purchases
Finish up the few gifts I have made this year.
(can't post pics because they may see)
Get my Gown for the Ball hemmed
(there is no Ball, but I have a dress and I'm going to wear it even if it is to sleep in)
possibly whip up a batch of cookies?

I know...there's a shadow across her face, but that was not the focus...see that big hole?

One more thing...you know how crappy a parent I am?
Well, the damn tooth-fairy fell asleep, really asleep...
and that huge tooth was still neatly tucked in the tooth box under Olive's pillow last night.
I had to make excuses for that damn Fairy...
just so you know, I didn't tell Olive the fairy was drunk...
I said she must have been confused.

the funk has arrived at our house and as usual the scrawniest one gets it first.

He is being plagued by the stomach yuk. Fever,barfing chills and such. He ate last night then tossed and turned in agony, afraid to puke.
I would take a broken leg in five places before I chose a night of nausea.
I'm guessing this is the beginning of our cold season and unfortunately it always starts with Ilin because he travels the weekends to his Dad's house...(that is what I blame it on)
So as Ilin lays in bed,clutching his RugRats pillow, I am anti-bacterializing everything in the house. I am praying that Bobby does not get it, because he is a horrible sick person, and crossing my fingers little Miss Olive doesn't get it because I absolutely hate seeing her puke.
Off to play house nurse now.

One more week of summer and the mini me's hit the pool.
Is this a preview of what is to come for the girls teen years? We haven't a clue...

360 days of my life #159
Yeah, mine was a bit brown on the top, ok a lot brown on top...you really have to watch it the first 7 minutes, and that means EVEN if you are drinking margaritas,it's not gonna watch itself!...and maybe the crust was a little thick in the corners...but it was a hit.
Sour Cherry topping from scratch...so easy, the entire thing was easy!!! Seriously, I really couldn't believe it. My Ma in law said, "wow, you whipped that up in a minute!" It was actually 14 minutes it took to mix everything together and that included telling Olive to move 70 times and opening 5 boxes of cream cheese.
You guys should really try it...it was sooooo easy!
a couple of hints: 1. Watch the top on the first 12 minutes at 500 degrees...mine took only 8 minutes to get brown and even though I turned it down it still browned on the top.
2. make sure your cream cheese is room temp when you mix

Laziness...360 days of my life #155
Right now I'm having a beer in place of my breakfast for a multitude of reasons.
1. It's easier than making coffee, and it was right in the garage fridge, staring at me.
2. I worked all night, came home zonked then the Universe only allowed me to sleep for 3 hours.
Damn the Universe
3. It has less calories and carbs then whatever I would cram in my trap for breakfast.
4. It makes the teenagers who live in my basement cringe.
5. It's Friday
6. Bobby's Mom is coming today, and there is still dog pee on the carpet.

Long day, then a beer or 6 as you can tell by how I don't even care if they are taking y picture at such close range...and man, Olive has a large Cabasa. We were in Downtown Grand Rapids at some joint called the B.O.B, all I cared was that there was an awesome custom bike show going on, the kids weren't arguing and they had beer with higher alcohol then 3.2%

Look at that itty bitty green tomato!!!
My first bit of garden coming up. ! Exciting,huh?
I got in there, planted nice lovely straight little rows.
then the big dumb dog got in there and rolled around like a pig in mud.
Now the garden is "free form".
it's a step below or above square foot gardening....Pretty artsy as I see it.
Kinda like garden planter salad.
