Sage That Shit

 Or at least Fabuloso it.

I woke up this morning and said,
"up...get up. clean this house and life, sage that shit outta here.
You have an amazing family that needs you,
Let's perk up and
Live"

so....
up I am,
cleaning, jamming out to top 40, crying a bit and laughing a bit.
I sometimes laugh at the fact so many things have happened in the last year, yet things continue to move forward. As they should.
It's my absolute favorite time of year,
Spring
new beginnings....
and I am going to cherish it

I comically started cleaning and as I cleaned I thought I should probably start thinking about making nice nice with some of the people who pushed me to the side during the divorce.
Last thing I want to do is continue to carry anger around
I texted a few of the people who really hurt my heart.
Pretty sure they have not been thinking much about me,
yet I still think about them.
stupid empath qualities.
We did get invited to our first party since the divorce by old friends
and then
one of the couple got Covid
I wondered if it was really covid or the fact I was invited....
but that is the exact negative nelly shit I'm trying to avoid.
I'm clearing my list day by day.
Might be easier to bomb the list but it's something I need to do.

As the house fills with the smell of Fabuloso
I am starting to feel better.
I wish I could hug and kiss a few people I really miss
I wish I could get in a car and drive away for a few hours and think
I wish I could travel a bit more (which I may make happen regardless)
I wish people would stop by a bit more
and I hope this cleaning helps it all feel nice and new

new.
that's where we are right now today
starting this little journey new

365 days: day 217 Undie drawer update and DIY Bracelet Organizer

Days are getting pretty swanky around here

underwear drawer is looking good

so, I couldn't just ignore the socks

or the bracelets ( this is brilliant)
I highly recommend doing this, I should have done it years ago.
I got these organizer things on Amazon

came the next day so that I didn't lose my will or want and blammo...Undwear organized like a grownup.
Panties have a living space and every pair is open to fair use.
same with the socks.
remember, if you do this, make sure you get rid of the gross underwear too....and socks.

After I cleaned those 2 drawers I thought, "well hell...let's do something with the jewelry."
I wanted something to hang my bracelets on ( I love bracelets!)
I looked on amazon and Pinterest and really could not find anything which looked semi modern and was not killer $$
Then....I saw something...I said, I know what that is!
A CUP HOLDER!!!
So, I went to Target and got a coffee cup hanger thingy and it worked perfect. 16$, light wood and marble base for my rings.
woop woop.
Please see above.
genius

I ordered this thing for my necklaces and earrings
we will see.

I feel a bit relieved.
I have been donating and ditching things for downsizing.
better to be prepared

Now y'all get to organizing that undies drawer.
you can thank me later

off to admire my panties

attempts at picture organization

has anyone ever attempted to organize the boxes of pictures they have accumulated?  I just can't wrap my feeble brain around where to start?  My type A personality wants me to put them in books in chronological order, yet the boxes won't really allow for that!  it's too many!
I have tons, when my mom passed away, she lefte me with tons and then I found a box with pictures from my dad (born 1916!) !!!!  argh.  I can't leave this stuff like this.  It doesn't seem historically ok!!!

On a side note....all the fabric is now off the chair to reupholster...and I think we have decided to go with new carpet instead of wood floor with the Wolf dog, kids and cold weather.

Cleaning The Den of Olive's Kindergarten Stank.

I shouldn't have sat down. I was on a roll, then I saw this ol broken down chair by the computer and parked my butt in it. I have a goal today.

Olive's Room.

It is disgusting, like so many things here in my much neglected house. The idea is that she will be gone all day today and I will be home secretly throwing away little plastic toys from god only knows where. I will be recycling 400,000 sheets of paper which include everything from counting to vocabulary. I hopefully will have no mercy.
Mr. Clean will be my wing man...helping me with his "magic eraser"...
(I would so do Mr. Clean)

Mr. Murphy Soap will be supplying extra wood cleaning power and shine so her room will glow like the buttside of the church pews.

Please...wish me luck...
I'm not good with cleaning.
today, I will
Go Forth and Conquer!!!

"Hard to NOT do 20 things at Once...."

Nurse Doug said this to me via email yesterday.....hmmmmmmm....yes, just think about it for a few minutes. It's very true. If you are used to multi tasking...maybe going 4 places a day, taking care of groceries, school, work...and then BAM...they say..."hey, sleep in, relax" I guarantee that your eyes will pop open at 620 am and your mind will race with all the things that you should be doing or could be doing. Not very relaxing. Not very relaxing at all. I'm going on day 3 of Spring Break and I'm all ready thinking about cracking open my school books so taht I don't fall behind. Fall Behind!!!???? It's Spring Break!

I cleaned the entire fishtank yesterday, that means dumping all the water, cleaning the rocks, scrubbing that filter thing and refilling with fresh water and getting a new condo for the fish. They will probably die now. I cleaned the 11 yo's room and we threw a bunch of stuff out, which leads to a mind problem for myself. I hate throwing away those little misplaced toys. Little helmetless Lego people are the worst for me. I feel bad for them....anyways I secretly put all the "cute" homeless toys in a shoebox and put them on the "homeless" shelf. I realized that I have 3 other boxes. (I'm going to take a picture to prove it tonight). His room looks good. Then I headed to the basement to work on the new guest room and basement toys. it's gross in the basement. (this is a case of not being able to relax) The new room looks good except I need pillows....but the "rumpus room" as my parents would have called it is disgusting. It's got the shag, brown, swirl carpet and mismatched furniture, along with a ton of Marshall Stacks of Bobby's and just random STUFF. Not sure what to do with the basement.

Today, is knitting night, but it might turn into ladies night. Got that Synda?

I better get to work.

I wanted to remind everyone about "babysteps" for the Earth. If you haven't stopped using grocery bags at the grocery store...please...get yourself 4 Earth friendly bags and stop using that plastic
